The internet has provided homebuyers with an overload of information. They do their own home search; they run their own filters. They educate themselves with buying foreclosed properties. They run home valuation programs to find out if a home is worth the list price. They ask questions in different websites and receive tons of answers from professionals, like real estate agents, appraisers, inspectors, etc. So what do you do if your search comes up with this number of available homes: Would you call each of these listing agents? And do you know the right questions to ask? Really? You will probably find that many listings are already on pending status or expired, and you wonder why the websites you subscribe to don’t reflect the actual status. Would you spend your time doing things that a real estate agent would do for you, and won’t charge you? Remember, buyers’ agents earn their commissions from sellers. Even so, they work on your side and for the protection of your interests. They are sworn to abide by the Realtors’ Code of Ethics and you should expect a high level of service and integrity. Home buying is a complicated web, especially if you do it only once or twice in a lifetime, and are far between. Find a Realtor® you can trust, and avoid being overwhelmed by too much information. |
